In his previous incarnations, Daniel has been an engineer, a consultant, an entrepreneur, and a swing dance instructor. He joined the Google Creative Lab shortly after having studied graphic and interaction design at Art Center College of Design.
Daniel maintains a curious love-hate relationship with technology. He has been known to daydream about a future where people don’t curse at tiny computer screens, call tech support, or commit typography crimes. In his design practice, he claims to be driven by thinking through making, guided by disciplined observation and empathy. But his secret personal mission is to rid the world of physical, mental, and spiritual clutter.
As a simplicity evangelist, he feels mildly guilty about writing bios in the third person.
